Zhang Yue is a fashion designer and also a visual artist. Her artistic practice is rooted in a family with a traditional artistic atmosphere, and this environment laid the foundation for her artistic perception. During her studies, her artistic style developed into her own personal label through self-identity and cultural integration. In practice, she attempts to connect traditional elements with contemporary art concepts through a cross media means, challenging inherent views on the boundary between tradition and modernity, and presents her own reflections on culture and social environments.
