Gu Jiaqi (Jackie) 顧佳淇

Gu Jiaqi prefers to be identified as a designer rather than an artist. She likes to connect design with reality, and is passionate about establishing a deeper connection with the audience, so that they can experience a different world through her designs. She firmly believes that visual design is a good medium to communicate with people, as it contains the power that might connect the emotions which resonate with the audience.

顧佳淇傾向認為自己是設計師而非藝術家，她喜歡用設計與現實連結在一起，她熱衷於和觀眾之間建立更深層的聯繫，讓觀眾透過她的設計去體驗一個不一樣的世界。她堅信視覺設計是一個很好的與人交流的方式與媒介，是一種力量，能夠喚起人與人之間的情感和共鳴。

I interviewed five girls who had previously encountered dangerous situations, and I drew a diary of what they went through with different perspectives and different stories. This is a diary for everyone: girls, boys, and parents. Everyone may have different feelings after reading it. While this colourful diary is not enough to soothe the fear in the hearts of these girls who are now the storytellers, it ensures that you and I are the listeners. I hope that in the future, there will be less storytellers and more listeners.

顧佳淇採訪了五位有過不同危險遭遇的女孩，並把她們所經歷的事情用日記的形式畫了出來，以不同的視角講述不同的故事。這是一本面向所有人的日記，女孩，男孩，父母，每個人看完也許都會有不一樣的感受。雖然日記中的顏色不足以撫平這些女孩心中的恐懼，她們現在是講述者，你我都是聆聽者。她希望在以後，能夠少一些講述者，多一些聆聽者。
