Deng Ailing (Irene) 鄧愛鈴
Deng Ailing received a Bachelor's degree in software engineering. After graduation, she decided to pursue a cross-disciplinary practice and devote herself to the art and design fields of which she is passionate about. She chose to major in visual arts at Hong Kong Baptist University for a master's degree.
鄧愛鈴在獲得軟件工程學士學位後，投身於熱愛的藝術以及設計領域嘗試跨學科的創作，現在香港浸會大學修讀視覺藝術碩士。
In my journey of artistic exploration, I focus on my personal upbringing as a member of an East Asian family. I mainly study the contradiction between the desire for intimacy and the pursuit of alienation between personal and family emotions. The graduation work is based on the theme of "desire to control." I tried to convey the concept through an unlockable door, inviting the viewer to review the author's childhood room from a childhood perspective and feel the atmosphere and environment.
在我的藝術探索路程上，靈感常來自我的成長經歷，成長在典型的東亞式家庭中，我主要研究個人和家庭情感之間的渴望親密以及尋求疏離的矛盾。畢業作品以「控制欲」為主題，她試圖以難以緊鎖的房門來傳達其概念，邀請觀者能從一個童年的視角來回顧作者兒時的房間，並感受當下的氛圍與環境。
