Chen Qin 陳勤
Chen Qin's artistic practice spans across various media, including multi-channel video, photography, installations, and monotype printing. Her works delve into the ever-changing boundaries between the post-human body and the external world. Drawing inspiration from her experiences living in Hangzhou, a highly developed city in terms of internet technology, in recent years, she interweaves her personal perceptions into broader themes of human history, futurology, and philosophical contemplation. Through this process, Chen Qin reconstructs narratives and catalyses exploration into the realm of the post-human.
陳勤1998年出生於中國汕頭，2021年獲得中國美術學院跨媒體藝術學士學位，2023年開始在香港浸會大學攻讀視覺藝術碩士學位。 受到著名視覺藝術家楊福東和阿彼察邦·韋拉斯哈古美學風格的影響，她探索精緻而詩意的視覺表達。
陳勤的藝術創作包含多螢幕影像、陶藝、攝影、裝置、獨版印刷等多種媒介，作品探討後人類身體與外在世界之間不斷變化的邊界。她從近年在網路科技高度發展的杭州的生活經驗中汲取靈感，將個人感悟交織在人類歷史、未來學、哲學思考等更廣闊的主題中，重構敘事，激發對未來人類世界的探索。
