Lin Rushan 林汝珊

Lin Rushan is a visual designer who likes walking in the city and observing the city, so she is keen on caring about hot topic social issues. Her optimistic, cheerful, and free-spirited personality makes her prefer to use humorous artistic methods to satirise contemporary social issues. At the same time, her many years of experience in visual design have made her better at using graphic design to integrate art media to express her creations. She likes to see the big from the small in order to find inspiration from common things in daily life giving new artistic connotations to ordinary objects.

林汝珊是視覺設計師,熱衷城市漫步和城市觀察,她亦關心社會熱門議題,樂觀開朗,喜愛自由的個性讓她更喜歡用詼諧幽默的藝術角度諷刺社會議題。同時,多年的視覺設計工作經驗讓她擅長用平面設計融合藝術媒材來表達創作。她喜歡以小見大,從平常生活中常見的事物挖掘靈感,為平凡、普通的物體賦予新的藝術內涵。

Commercialised Love is a packaging work by artist Lin Rushan. The design was inspired by contemporary social media software and dating platforms. It uses commercial packaging to interpret the commercialisation of contemporary love to resonate with viewers.

The use of social dating apps among contemporary young people has become very frequent. Everyone labels themselves on social platforms and promotes themselves online. The artist herself presents this phenomenon by collecting different representatives typical on social platforms and designing a set of packages.This set of packaging design invites viewers to experience commercialisation of contemporary dating from another perspective to re-examine contemporary love.

商業化愛情是藝術家林汝珊的包裝作品,由當代兩性社交應用程式和交友平台受啟發,用商業包裝來詮釋當代愛情的商業化,讓觀者產生共鳴。當代年輕人社交約會應用程式頻繁,每個人在社群平台上標籤化自我,進行線上自我推銷,藝術家本人透過收集社群平台上不同的典型代表,設計成一套包裝,把這個現象呈現出來。這套包裝設計邀請觀者從另一個角度體會當代約會的商業化,重新檢視當代愛情。
